September 21st, 2006, The American Ireland Fund's
Young Leaders hosted 'Cocktails in the Living Room'
in The Jury's Hotel Boston.
Bridget Hester, Regional Director, gave a history
of the Boston Young Leaders and spoke of their importance
to future of the AIF. The Young Leaders have played
a crucial part in the fundraising efforts In Boston
over the last 15 years.
Guest speaker, Sean Tuohey, founder of Peace Players,
gave a passionate and informative talk on how his organization
is working to bring together Catholic and Protestant
children throughout Northern Ireland using the neutral
sport of basketball to promote peace and reconciliation.
The American Ireland Fund has been a strong supporter
of Peace Players since their inception.
We'd like to thank everyone who attended the evening!
