Chicago dinner was held at the historic Chicago Hilton and
Towers on November 13, 2003.

The dinner
was chaired by The Honorable & Mrs. Richard M. Daley
Over 500 people came to pay special
tribute to the American Ireland Fund and honoree Rev. Monsignor
Kenneth Velo.
Honorary chairs, the Honorable Mr. Richard M. Daley, Mayor
of Chicago and his wife Maggie attended the dinner. The
evening would not have been such a success without the
continuous support and friendship of this extraordinary
couple.
The evening began with dancing to the lovely sounds
of the Stu Hirsh Orchestra. Thank you to everyone for
all your generous support that raised over $450,000 for
the
work of The American Ireland Funds.
