Dinner Honoring Tommy Gallagher  : 17 May 2007 Dallas

The Dallas Petroleum Club was the venue for a Gentlemen’s dinner hosted by David Newman honoring Tommy Gallagher on the occasion of the 10th Thomas Tierney Irish American Cup Challenge held in Dallas in May 2007.

Boy was Tommy surprised as he thought he was hosting the dinner honoring the Golf Committee. Quite a few of his Irish golfers who were also in on the secret came in early to attend. A gala evening of many toasts and quite a few boasts was had by all!

Tommy was overwhelmed with the special presentation from Bob Elliott of a signed and framed picture of the greats of the golf world taken at the first Byron Nelson Competition held in Dallas in 1968. At evening’s end Tommy summed it all up by saying “Thanks for the Memories.”
