The Irish Georgian Society Texas Chapter in association
with The American Ireland Fund Texas held their third
annual Halloween event October 30th at the Dallas
Country Club.
John Kane, Hon. Irish Consul for Texas flew in from
his mountaintop home in Aspen Colorado for the occasion.
He spoke on the commitment of the Irish Government
to Historical Preservation.
Noted Dallas humorist Rosemary Rumbley covered all
things Irish from Ancient Bards to modern day poets
and left us all laughing. IGS Texas Chapter President
Mary Lee Cox summed it all up in her closing remarks: “We
are all here to fundraise for the IGS but we must
always keep the fun in the fundraising.
