Irish Minister visits Dallas 2006

Minister Dermot Ahern and his wife Maeve were in Dallas for the St. Patrick's week festivities. The American Ireland Fund organized a breakfast honoring the Minister which was hosted by international businessman Gabriel Barbier Mueller.

Attending were AIF National Board members and distinguished members of the Dallas business community including several close Texas friends of the President.

Mike Corboy presented the WineGeese book A Kingdom of Wine to the Minister and also to Mr. Barbier Mueller.

The Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce in association with The American Ireland Fund hosted a luncheon March 14 honoring Irish Minister Dermot Ahern. John Tillotson National Board member of The American Ireland Fund presented Mr Ahern with a Stetson and made him an Hon. Texan.
