Speedwell Trust of Northern Ireland Celebrated at Carton House, Co Kildare, Ireland : 09.28.06

Mike Corboy, avid Speedwell supporter, flew into Dublin for a lunch honoring Jean Kelly of Speedwell Trust, Co Tyrone, at Carton House, a magnificent estate recently transformed into a glorious hotel, spa, and golf destination by the Mallaghan family of Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

Jean was handing over her day-to-day management of Speedwell to Eamonn McClean and moving to a position as Director of Development. Already she has commitments from major supporters in the Republic of Ireland. Terry Cross of Château de La Ligne fame gave her the first commitment from Northern Ireland. And of course Mike Corboy pledged his continued support.

Jean announced that Speedwell will be featured in the December issue of Good Housekeeping in the United States. Not bad for a first month in a new job! Way to go Jean!

Jean’s comment: “I would not be here to day without the encouragement and support of my good friends in Texas, Lou Ann and Mike Corboy, and in Dublin Terry Browne and Ged Pierse. How’s that for hands across the water? Yea for Dallas and Dublin!
