2 March 2004 : St Patrick's Celebration

On March 2 the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations officially commenced as more than 100 guests joined the AIF Young Leaders for a fantastic event at the hidden gem of the West Village, G2.

Thanks to the leadership of Joe Berry Jr., a dedicated event committee the AIF Young Leaders St. Patrick’s Day Celebration was a tremendous success raising $14,000! Since its launch in January, The Young Leaders Program is off to a terrific start. The AIF is well on its way to providing a forum that enables people of Irish ancestry and friends of Ireland to network with fellow up-and-coming business professionals, while financially supporting the work of The American Ireland Fund.

A special thanks to Joe Walsh and Denis Mulcahy who represented the night’s beneficiary charity Project Children. The AIF would also like to thank Eddie Gilmartin, an alum of the program from Belfast, who eloquently told the crowd of how support from the AIF allowed him to be a part of Project Children and in turn how he is a successful New Yorker today.

The American Ireland Fund is grateful to all who attended and we hope to see you again soon.
