Over 125 guests escaped the
heat of NYC for The AIF Young Leaders Summer Reception at
The Princeton Club of New York.
It was a fantastic evening of camaraderie, networking and
charity raising $25,000 for projects in Ireland. Most notably,
the Fund welcomed Brendan Tuohey of Playing For Peace which uses the sport of Basketball to bring tolerance to Northern
Ireland. The Young Leaders has earmarked $5,000 of the night’s
proceeds for Playing For Peace Northern Ireland.
Thanks to a dedicated and enthusiastic planning committee,
the event had a great turnout and special thanks to Turner
Construction and Boru Vodka for sponsoring the event.
Thank you also to AIF Board Director Jerry Callaghan, who
made a very generous contribution, which is truly an investment
in the future of The American Ireland Fund.
