Palm Beach 2002

Co-chaired by Colleen Bain, Tom Quick and Pat Rooney the 2002 Palm Beach Emerald Isle Dinner Dance was a terrific success.

Held at The Breakers last February, the evening's honorees, The Dr. Thomas F. Carney Family had their dedication and commitment to The American Ireland Fund acknowledged. Dr. Carney along with his wife Alice and three sons have been loyal supporters of The Fund since 1982.

Two nights later, an evening of lectures, cocktails and dinner was held at the home of AIF supporters, Mr. & Mrs. Fred Krehbiel.

Funds raised from this event went to the Irish Georgian Society; an organization which focuses on conserving Ireland’s architectural heritage.

Lectures were given by its current president, Desmond Fitzgerald, Knight of Glin and author Tom O’Gorman.
