The San Francisco American Ireland Fund Kickoff Party for the 2006 Gala Dinner was held on February 2nd.  Board members and guests gathered at the World Trade Club by the Bay Bridge to launch the countdown 'til the March 3rd event.  Honorary Chair, Bill Walsh, greeted everyone and last year's honoree, Jon Folan, kept everyone smiling with his stories!  Regional Director, Marjorie Muldowney, encouraged everyone to come and bring and buy tables at the dinner "I've tried raising money by asking for it and by not asking for it. I always get more by asking!" she declared.

Ireland's new Consul-General, Emer Deane, attended the party.  Also in attendance were Board Members Maryon Davies Lewis, Bart Murphy and Craig Sullivan.  Mary Toboni and Sheila McWilliams  were in terrific form and had fun with Suzi and Ken Tinsley and Bob and Evi Ferris.  Dinner Committee Members Tim Lucey and Phil Kearney were present along with Kathleen Ryan and Meagan Levitan. Longtime supporter Frank Sinnott joined everyone and Clare and Jim McGovern were there too.
