The Australian Ireland Fund
Benefactors Programme
To continue and further help those less fortunate
than ourselves we are now complementing our Governorship
Programme by launching our "Benefactor Programme".
Supporters are invited to become Benefactors of
the Fund, upon payment of an annual tax-deductible
contribution of $1,000 and become a Life Benefactor
after making 5 successive annual payments.
Benefits for Benefactors
- Helping those less fortunate than ourselves on
the Island of Ireland
- Recognition as a Benefactor in Ireland Fund publications,
including Connect, our international magazine
- Special arrangements for Benefactors who would
like to visit any of the projects we support
- A copy of Connect mailed to you
- Assistance from our Ireland Fund office in Dublin
with introductions in Ireland and assistance with
golf, sightseeing or other recreational activities
- As a further gesture of our appreciation to Benefactors
we will provide a set of two Waterford Crystal Champagne
Flutes.
The support of the Benefactors
will be acknowledged in the Annual Report of The Australian
Ireland Fund and in the international publication
Connections. In addition, the contribution by Benefactors
will be acknowledged in the programme for the activities
conducted by The Fund.
Each year the Chairman of The Australian Ireland
Fund and the Irish Ambassador to Australia host a
reception to provide a personal briefing to Benefactors
on developments in Ireland, with particular reference
to the role being played by The Ireland Funds. In
addition, special arrangements will be made for Benefactors
who might visit Ireland involving introductions to
the key civic and political leaders and inspection
tours of the work being conducted by The Ireland Funds.
Also, our friends and associates would be very happy
to assist Benefactors with golf, sightseeing or other
recreational activities in Ireland.
The Directors of The Australian Ireland Fund and
our grant recipients are most grateful for the generous
support provided by our Benefactors.
