PricewaterhouseCoopers again hosted our supporters lunch in Sydney which provided an opportunity for Chairman, Charles Curran, to give an update on the activities of the Australian Ireland Fund over the last year.

The Chairman also spoke about the projects we are aiding with the help of our supporters, including Northern Ireland Children’s Enterprise, 174 Trust, Speedwell Trust, Habitat for Humanity, Rock Challenge, Soundhouse, Chair of Modern Irish Studies at the University of New South Wales, the Australian team at the Special Olympics in Dublin in June 2003, and the Reach Project in Melbourne.

The event also provided an opportunity to recognize our Governors who were present including Lady Mary Fairfax, Peter & Toni Ryan, Goldman Sachs J.B. Were, Briege Tuite, Mary Lee, Craigh McIntosh, Jack O’Mahony, Frank Hargrave and Bill Roche.

We also launched the Sydney Garden Party which will take place on Sunday 23 November 2003, with our special guest, Sir Anthony O’Reilly.
