Sydney Farewell Reception for Ambassador Richard O'Brien and Mrs. Bernadette O'Brien

Chairman Charles Curran hosted a farewell reception at his offices at The Judge's House for His Excellency Richard O'Brien, Irish Ambassador to Australia for 7 years and Mrs. Bernadette O'Brien. Richard was a wonderful supporter of The Australian Ireland Fund and we thank him for all his effort, dedication and support. They leave with our respect and affection.

We also said goodbye to Vice Consul Ruaidhri Dowling who has moved to Greece and thank him also for his support and assistance also.

PricewaterhouseCoopers partner David Wiadrowski kindly hosted, once again, our supporters luncheon.

This provided an opportunity for us to say thank you to our sponsors, our supporters and table captains and to give an update on activities of The Fund. It was also our great pleasure to make a presentation to Mr. David Clarke AO, Governor of The Fund and also Corporate Governor J.B. were represented by Mr. Ron Porter.
