It was a great occasion with the opening of the
new school in Ballycastle. All the speakers mentioned
how grateful they were to
The
Australian
Ireland Fund and the Sir Warwick Fairfax Trust. It
was fantastic to see all the children together singing “If
You’re Happy and You Know It…..” It was great to see the wonderful accommodation
they have for the new school. Small beginnings but
a great future
ahead! It was so colourful. The parents are clearly
ecstatic and delighted to see the opportunities for
their children.

of the pupils at Ballycastle Beach
which looks good but very cold at this time of year!
It was also
great to hear of the level of local support for the
venture with one businessman stopping in to make
a donation as he drove by! Paul Caskey
