Portaferry Opens
Supported by The Australian Ireland Fund and the Sir Warwick Fairfax Trust, The Australian E-Learning and Special Needs Centre at Portaferry Integrated Primary School was opened in October of 2007 in Co. Down, Northern Ireland.

Pupils performed 'Sweet Portaferry' for the invited guests and everyone was able to view the new facilities: the E-Learning Suite and the Special Needs Room.

Special guests included Dr. Maurice Hayes of The Ireland Funds and Dorinda Lady Dunleith.

The Australian Ireland Fund and the Sir Warwick Faifax Trust provided a grant for the Australian E-Learning and Special Needs Centre at Portaferry Integrated Primary School ($120,000).
