19th Annual St. Patrick's Day Luncheon.
'Change - Driven by People' was the theme of Toronto's
19th Annual St. Patrick's Day Luncheon. The entire day was
one of the most enjoyable, moving and successful events
to date.
The crowd of over 1,300 guests enjoyed a feast of Irish
culture; Irish dancers, Celtic rockers, Irish comedian Frank
Kelly, and a very poignant video produced by National Board
Member Daithi Connaughton.
Sixteen Honorary Irish persons graced the head table along
with dignitaries, local politicians and our Guests of Honor,
Glen Barr and Paddy Doherty, the Joint-Chairs of Border
Horizons in Northern Ireland.
Since 1988, 182 individuals have been named Honorary Irish
Persons in recognition of their support, or that of their
generous sponsors, of The Ireland Fund of Canada.
