21st Annual Emerald Ball Celebration

William J. Neill announced at the Twenty-First Emerald
Ball that the year 2003 was the best fund raising year to
date.
$1 million has been raised for important initiatives both
in Ireland and Canada. This year included a remarkable donation
from the Estate of Marie Louise Perry who generously bequeathed
a gift to The Ireland Funds.
The Emerald Ball was an evening of Irish hospitality and
entertainment chaired by Susan Storey of CIBC World Markets.
Ambassador of Ireland, Martin Burke and The Honorable Geoffrey
Berg, British Consul General and many wonderful long-time
friends of The Fund attended the dinner.
