The 12th Annual Edmonton Emerald Ball,a highlight of the
social season in
Edmonton kicked-off the St. Patrick's celebration for the
city at the Crowne
Plaza on Saturday, March 13th.
The Gala was attended by
the Lieutenant
Governor Lois Hole and Mayor Bill Smith and Mrs. Marlene
Smith and over 250
guests.
A record amount was raised! Each guest
enjoyed a wonderful
meal, the live and silent auctions and of course dancing
until the early
hours.
Both Mr. Colm O'Carroll, Director and Mrs. Doodie
Cahill, Director of
the IFC were very pleased with the awareness created
for initiatives such
as the Fellowship of Messines through the attendance
of Frankie Gallagher
and Harry Donaghy of Northern Ireland.
