The Annual Emerald Ball in Ottawa was a resounding success
graciously hosted by Sheila O'Gorman, Chair of the Ottawa
Chapter.
In attendance that evening was Ambassador Martin
Burke and Mary Burke and the British High Commissioner,
David Reddaway. Prior to the Emerald Ball, Ambassador
Martin Burke had hosted a lovely cocktail reception at
his residence
for the corporate sponsors and donors who have faithfully
supported the ongoing work of the Chapter.
The evening's special
guest Paul Gross, Canadian Actor and Director gave a personal
account of growing up Irish Canadian
that resonated
with all.
