The Ireland Fund of Canada Scholarship Program

The Ireland Fund of Canada has established a scholarship, to be awarded annually, to suitable Canadian applicants.

This is a tuition grant of up to $10,000 for graduate students to study at a recognized academic institution in Ireland in the field of Irish Studies.

The recipient of The Ireland Fund of Canada scholarship for the academic year of 2002/2003 is Marnie Hay. A graduate of the University of Winnipeg and a gifted student, Marnie is currently attending University College Dublin, pursuing a PhD in Modern Irish History.

An academic panel from the University of Toronto and York University will vet the applications.
