We are pleased to announce that Susan Storey was elected Chair at the June Annual General Meeting of the Board of Directors. Ms. Storey is Managing Director of CIBC World Markets and Past Chair of the Children’s Aid Society Foundation and volunteers on many committees and Boards of not for profit organizations. Ms. Storey has been very involved with the Fund since joining the Board of Directors three years ago.

Susan Storey spearheaded the Governance Committee in its work on matters dealing with compliance and ethics producing a Director’s package including the rules of governance for the Board, the by-laws of the corporation and the expectations and responsibilities of all members of the Fund. She also Chaired the Emerald Ball in Toronto for three consecutive years, building incrementally on sponsorship and attendance while creating an elegant evening of Irish hospitality.

We look forward to working with Susan Storey and our 2005/2006 Board of Directors, Chapters and volunteer committee members.
