The Ireland Fund of Canada appoints a new Executive Director, Carmel Orr.

Carmel comes to us after a 25-year background in senior roles in the financial, manufacturing, retail and service industries.

She has a long history of relationship management at all levels of organizational structure and is an accomplished Human Resources professional.

We are delighted to have someone of Carmel's business expertise, as well as Irish ancestry, join the Fund. Carmel was born in Ireland and she and her husband have lived in Canada since 1987.

She continues to have strong family ties to Ireland, as well as an intimate knowledge of the political and social realities of Ireland today.
