The 11th Annual John Dunne Golf Classic 2007
Dear Golfers
and Friends of The Ireland Fund of Canada
The 11th Annual John Dunne Golf Classic is quickly approaching
on July 5th at Angus Glen Golf Club just a few short weeks
before they host the 2007 Canadian Open! We will be playing
on some of the same holes, 1 through 16, as the 2007 Canadian
Open Tour! We are also honoured to have the Ambassador
to Ireland, Declan Kelly playing as our guest.
It will be a fabulous Golf Day! The day will start with
registration opening at 10:00 am along with the Driving
Range, where you can treat yourself to a Tournament Touch
Massage sponsored by Druids Glen Golf! A BBQ lunch will
be served at 11am with our Pillar Sponsor Guinness ensuring
that the pints are flowing while you listen to the great
music of the duo Trip Doubt! Then off to the course with
a Shot-gun Tee Off at 1:30 pm sharp!
When you return from playing your best game of golf you
will enjoy a wonderful Cocktail Reception with Guinness,
cigars, more music by Trip Doubt and a chance to win of
a one week lease on the BMW Z4 with the Helicopter Ball
Drop! You will end your day with a wonderful meal outside
in the Marquis Tent with prizes, live auction and the raffle
draw!! With only 10 Foursomes left you will want to book
yours before it is sold out! This is definitely a day you
don't want to miss.
As in past years, we are grateful to the corporations
and golfers who contribute to our gift bags, raffle and
prize table! There are also opportunities for both Sponsorship
and Advertising!
It is through your support and generosity that our events
and fundraising efforts are successful! You make all the
difference! For more information on the Ireland Fund of
Canada please visit our website at www.irlfunds.org
I will look forward to seeing you on the links!
Think sunshine and golf swings!
Warmest regards,
