IFOC meeting Mary McAleese - June 20, 2007

On June 20th The Ireland Fund of Canada Board of Directors had the honour of meeting President of Ireland, Mary McAleese at the Royal York Hotel.

Mary McAleese was in Toronto for the opening ceremonies of Ireland Park on June 21st, which the President is Patron.

Ireland Park is on the waterfront as a memorial to the 38,000 Irish Famine Imigrants who landed there in 1847.

The Ireland Fund of Canada is proud to be the founding partner of Ireland Park.
