La Conférence Annuelle des Ireland Funds a accueilli à Dublin, du 23 au 25 juin 2002, deux cents délégués en provenance de dix pays.

Après avoir inspecté plusieurs projets financés par les Ireland Funds et participé à un symposium sur la difficile réconciliation des communautés en Irlande du Nord.

Ils eurent le privilège de pouvoir s'entretenir avec Mary Mac Aleese, Présidente d'Irlande; Bertie Ahern, le Premier Ministre; et le Dr John Reid, Secrétaire d'Etat britannique pour l'Irlande du Nord.

The Funds Annual Conference took place in Dublin between the 23rd and the 25th of June 2002. It drew over 200 delegates from ten branches of the worldwide Ireland Funds.

They visited several projects which have been grant-aided by the Funds. They also participated to a symposium exploring the challenges and obstacles to building reconciliation and a new society in Northern Ireland.

They were privileged to exchange views with Mary Mac Aleese, President of Ireland; the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern; and Dr John Reid, former Northern Ireland Secretary of State.
