Organisée par l'Alliance Française et les services culturels de l'Am-bassade de France en partenariat avec le Festival des Etonnants Voyageurs de St-Malo, la troisième édition de cette importante ren-contre littéraire franco-irlandaise qui bénéficie depuis sa création du soutien de l'Ireland Fund de France, s'est tenue au Château de Dublin du 4 au 6 avril 2002.

Une vingtaine de romanciers, essayistes, écrivains-voyageurs et poètes irlandais, fran-çais, tunisiens, came-rounais, marocains, sénégalais et pales-tiniens confrontèrent leurs points de vue et présentèrent leurs œuvres devant un public nombreux et attentif.

A ce troisième Festival des Etonnants Voyageurs de Dublin participaient notamment Tahar Ben Jelloun, José-Louis Bocquet, Jean-Claude Bourlès, Emmanuel Carrère, Alix de Saint-André, Fatou Diome, Jean-Roger Essomba, Gil Jouanard, Jean-Marie Laclavetine, Elias Sanbar, Harry Clifton, Michael Cronin, Gerald Dawe, Kerry Hardie, Anne Haverty, Trevor Joyce, Patrick Mc Cabe, Nuala Ni Dhomnaill, Claire Keegan, Dennis O'Driscoll, Alan Titley, Molly Mc Closkey, etc.

Flagship project of the Ireland Fund of France, this Franco-Irish literary festival is organised since 2000 by the Alliance Française and the French Embassy's Cultural Section in partnership with the St-Malo based Festival des Etonnants Voyageurs. It took place in the Coach House of Dublin Castle between the 4th and the 6th of April 2002.

Twenty novelists, essayists, travel writers and poets from Ireland, France, Tunisia, Cameroon, Morocco, Senegal and Palestine took part in the two days of discussions, cafés littéraires and readings.
