The Barretstown Gang Camp provides a unique and powerful programme of therapeutic recreation that enables seriously ill children, from Ireland and throughout Europe, to rediscover their own inner strength, confidence and self-esteem and to rediscover the wonder of childhood.

Assistance from The Ireland Fund of Germany contributed towards the cost incurred in bringing children to Barretstown and for all the care, support and activities provided during their stay. The real benefit to each child of their stay in Barretstown is expressed beautifully in the words of one camper from Spain, “Thank you for the wonderful time we had with you. You are amazing people. You made us smile all the time and forget all the sad days we had to face. Thank you for making all the children special”

Chapel Choir of Trinity College Dublin
The main aim of the Chapel Choir is the promotion and performance od ecclesiastical music. The grant from The Ireland Fund of Germany was used to assist the Choir's performance in Berlin last year.
