The IFGB enjoyed its most successful golf tournament
to date at St George’s Hill Golf Club, Surrey
on October 19th 2006. With 100 attendees, the event,
which saw many new faces introduced to The IFGB, raised
more funds than ever for the charity.
This year’s tournament was sponsored by Anglo
Irish Bank, Ballymore Properties and Doonbeg Golf Club.
The after dinner speaker was former rugby international,
Bob Skinstad, who entertained the golfers with stories
of his Irish heritage and growing up in South Africa.
Ruairi Conneely chaired the organising committee and
is already busy with plans for next year’s event.
