March 3, 2005 : Reception 12pm

The Ireland Fund of Great Britain is delighted to announce the re-launch of The Ireland Funds London City Luncheon, one of the most prestigious dates in our worldwide calendar of events.

This year’s key-note speaker will be An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern.

First held in 1993, The London City Luncheon traditionally took place in early November, and now from 2005 , the event will be held in March. The venue remains the spectacular Rubens decorated Banqueting House on Whitehall, just moments from Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

It was installed in 1635, and remains there today as the only one of Rubens's major decorative commissions still surviving intact in its original location.
