At The Ireland Funds Worldwide Conference, Ireland's Minister for Foreign Affairs Micheál Martin announced government plans to introduce a certificate of Irish heritage for up to 70 million people of Irish descent.
The words "Ireland" and "Homelessness" may not be immediately linked in many minds. But sadly, Dublin alone has over 2,000 people that fit this definition.
