The first ever Irish Film
Festival in New Zealand was held in October.
The festival spanned two cities, Dunedin (in
the South Island) and Auckland (in the North
Island). There were eight movies screened: Adam
and Paul, Goldfish Memory, Inside I'm Dancing,
Mickybo and Me, The Mighty Celt, Short Order,
Song for a Raggy Boy and Spin the Bottle.
The
Ireland Fund of New Zealand was proud to support
the University of Otago, the organisers of the
Irish Film Festival.
