Mary Robinson luncheon

On the 10th May 2005, The Ireland Fund of New Zealand in association with APN New Zealand, a New Zealand publishing company hosted a Mary Robinson luncheon during which she spoke about her vision for the spread of global justice.

The sell-out luncheon was chaired by John Maasland, Chairman of The Ireland Fund of New Zealand, and the Former President was introduced by Trustee Rodney Walshe, Honorary Consul-General of Ireland.

Mary Robinson, the former President of Ireland, now heads the Ethical Globalisation Initiative, an organisation that encourages global companies to follow human-rights codes and counteracts the idea that curtailing civil rights helps fight terrorism.
