corrymeela
community
Strives to heal
the social, religious, and political divisions in Northern
Ireland by providing a safe environment in
which people can speak openly about their own experiences
with religious prejudice. Funding supports various capital
projects including the refurbishment of the Corrymeela
House and the upgrading of one of our residential units.
“The
American Ireland Fund has allowed us to develop our programs,
particularly our work with families and communities, providing
respite for marginalized family groups and facilitating
the development of cross-community partnerships.”
