Established to purchase, conserve, and manage the bog of Fenor for educational and recreational purposes. Funding is used to build a boardwalk, provide seating, erect information boards, and create wheelchair access.

“Grant aid received from The American Ireland Fund played an enormous part in bringing the Fenor Bog Project to fruition. The funding has helped to put in place an amenity/information area and install a boardwalk made of recycled plastic whilst protecting the existing habitat.”
