  Elevating the Employment Assistance Program Coordinator to full-time status to deal with the increased number of those seeking employment assistance, and increasing the number of hours the staff counselor is on-site to service those grappling with the psychological implications of 9/11.

NY POLICE & FIRE WIDOWS' & CHILDREN'S FUND

  Underwriting tickets for the children of the fallen uniformed officers to attend the fund's annual "Day At Shea", which includes a picnic, night baseball game, and a reception following.

ROBIN HOOD FOUNDATION
$100,000

  Contributing to the Safe Horizons organization, which has effectively serviced victims' families by providing "one-stop shopping" at Pier 94 for those families trying to collect 9/11-related benefits. This model will be replicated throughout the 5 boroughs.

CIVIC CAPITAL CORPORATION
$70,000

  Providing three grants of equal value to small businesses that were either displaced or negatively impacted by 9/11.

ABRAHAM HOUSE
$50,000

  Helping those families whose livelihoods have been devastated by 9/11 to regain their own apartments by providing security and first month rent deposits.

COMFORT ZONE CAMP
$35,000

  Providing funding to enable children who lost a parent or guardian in the attacks on the Pentagon to attend a special bereavement camp session specifically for them.

CYO LITTLE HEROES PROGRAM
$32,000

  Creating 50 scholarships to a two-week children's bereavement summer resident camp as well as two weekend retreats for the whole family.

COMMUNITY FOOD RESOURCE CENTER
$30,000

  Establishing a community food pantry to meet the increased need for food and nutritional support for low-income families residing in the affected area.

FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION AGENTS ASSOCIATION
$30,000

  Helping the family of a fallen agent killed while volunteering his services alongside New York City firemen.

ASSOCIATION TO BENEFIT CHILDREN
$25,000

  Paying salaries to staff the Fast Break program, which provides mental health services to affected children, and A Child's Space, which provides therapeutic play environments for these children.

PENNSYLVANIA ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
$25,000

  Subsidizing the salaries of victim advocates and offsetting the costs associated with traveling to Liberty Park, NJ or Pier 94 in New York City to receive 9/11-related assistance.

AISLING IRISH COMMUNITY CENTER
$15,000

  Upgrading the Center's computer capabilities for two purposes: to assist individuals who lost their jobs as a result of 9/11 in searching on-line for employment opportunities; to enable the Center to hold more computer training courses for those seeking jobs in Information Services.

LITTLE SISTERS OF THE ASSUMPTION FAMILY
$15,000

  Increasing the number of advocacy directors on-site during the program's hours, in order to meet the greatly increased demand for advocate assistance as a result of 9/11.

NEW YORK LANDMARKS CONSERVANCY
$10,000

  Repairing 9/11-related damage to landmark buildings in lower Manhattan and residual damage to the Tall Ships at the South Street Seaport.

CITIGROUP RELIEF FUND
$8,625

  The DRF grant reflects the amount contributed from the Irish employees of Citibank to the Citigroup Relief Fund and will be used to support educational scholarships for victims' children.

TWIN TOWERS EMERGENCY SERVANTS FUND -PHILADELPHIA
$5,000

  Disbursing payments from this fund established by Philadelphia Police Commissioner John Timoney, to the families of police officers, firefighters, and emergency service workers who perished on 9/11.
